I discovered Second Life thanks to some friends I met on a game called YoVille (now YoWorld) on Facebook. A group of five of us had bonded and formed a family. When we had achieved everything we could on YoVille, it began to get boring and we needed a change. My friend Kelly found Second Life.
Needless to say, the transition from a literal cartoon character, to a more realistic cartoon character was a culture shock, to say the least. I will admit, there was a lot of frustration, stress, crying, and a lot of naked box wearing. It wasn't long before I said screw it and went back to my comfort zone of YoVille.
About a month after I unceremoniously threw in the towel, I decided to give Second Life another shot, well more like I was begged to, but I digress. After help from my little family and a few friends, I was soon out of Freebie Galaxy and thriving on my avatar. I finally had my shit together and wasn't completely noobing it out.
After a while the family I came into Second Life with started to drift away, real-life can be a bitch, what can I say.
